Rockford, IL band The Poet's Dance
will be in the studio this week to start tracking their new album. This five member group features two lead vocalists,
two synth players, a rockin' rhythm section and crunchy guitar tones. They have recently played a series of amazing shows
for their fans, and are ready to start tracking their new tunes. We are really looking forward to working with their
brand of club/rock/electronica music!
Blue Stream Records artist Brandy Kristin
will be performing a series of acoustic shows in central Illinois in the coming months as preparation for recording her
debut album. Brandy has written several more great songs and wants to refine them on stage before laying down the
tracks. We are excited to continue working on Brandy's album!
Congratulations to Never Say When
on the release of their debut album. This six member folk rock group from Macomb, IL spent a year recording their
album with us, and the results are well worth the wait!
Featuring an array of instruments including acoustic and electric guitars, drums, bass, piano, organ, djembe,
melodica, shakers and rich vocal harmonies, each song is warm and deep and enjoyable. The album was mastered by H-Bomb Mastering
in Toronto, Canada (Muse, Finger 11, Our Lady Peace, Three Days Grace, etc.) and sounds incredible!
The band recently completed a two week tour through the midwest to promote their album release, and will continue

Congratulations to singer/songwriter Taylor June
for placing in the top 10 of the Illinois Fairs talent show. Taylor won first place in 2009 at the Menard County Fair, and
competed against talent winners from throughout the state last week. Taylor wowed the judges with her sweet voice, comfortable
guitar playing and by performing one of her original tunes. Taylor recorded her six song demo with us last month, and is planning
on starting production of a full album in the near future.
Singer/songwriter Heather Watkins was back in the studio last week touching up some vocal tracks for a few songs she
has developed with legendary Nashville songwriter Nick Nixon.
We've been so busy we haven't had a chance continue our studio renovation. We found a little time to coordinate
a contractor to do some more work for us between sessions. Work will resume this week and put us back on track
for completing our new main tracking room. We still have a lot of work ahead, but at least we are moving forward!
Brandy Kristin is working on her debut album on
Blue Stream Records. Brandy blends her powerful, sultry voice with her very personal lyrics to
create music that reaches deep inside.
