Rockford, IL band The Poet's Dance
will be in the studio this week to start tracking their new album. This five member group features two lead vocalists,
two synth players, a rockin' rhythm section and crunchy guitar tones. They have recently played a series of amazing shows
for their fans, and are ready to start tracking their new tunes. We are really looking forward to working with their
brand of club/rock/electronica music!

Blue Stream Records artist Brandy Kristin
will be performing a series of acoustic shows in central Illinois in the coming months as preparation for recording her
debut album. Brandy has written several more great songs and wants to refine them on stage before laying down the
tracks. We are excited to continue working on Brandy's album!

Singer/songwriter Heather Watkins was back in the studio last week touching up some vocal tracks for a few songs she
has developed with legendary Nashville songwriter Nick Nixon.
We've been so busy we haven't had a chance continue our studio renovation. We found a little time to coordinate
a contractor to do some more work for us between sessions. Work will resume this week and put us back on track
for completing our new main tracking room. We still have a lot of work ahead, but at least we are moving forward!

Happy New Year to all of you from Blue Stream Records!
|

|
As we start another year, we are thankful for the great musicians we've worked with and the friends we've made since starting Blue Stream Records.
We want to thank each and every one of you for your continued support and friendship!
2009 was another successful and growing year for us. We released new CDs from Pete Sander,
Michael Knight, Sha Kluge, and Ed Clark
and completed the new CD from Never Say When, a project over a year in the making!
We also had great fun working with Following Indigo, doing demo tracking and performance coaching of their live concerts. We have
made new friends from Virginia with Offering, a talented band who are about to release their next album, which we've been mixing for
the past few months.
We started a new album from Greenview and got to participate in their music video for their first single "Doctor".
See it here!
We had a great time traveling to Toronto to work with Pete Lesperance in his studio. Pete is such a talented musician and
one heck of a cool guy!
We've also continued working on recording for new albums from Brandy Kristin and AOE.
Also during 2009 we acquired some incredible new gear for the studio. We love adding cool new toys that bring out the best in an artist's performance!
2010 is going to be an amazing year for Blue Stream Records. We've got some big things in the works, and can't wait to get to them!
